Jakarta, Indonesia – PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) continues to reinforce its position not just as a public transportation provider, but also as a model of corporate governance excellence in Indonesia. The company was recently honored at the 2025 Indonesia Excellence Good Corporate Governance Awards, held at the Sultan Hotel in South Jakarta.
With the theme “Building Indonesia’s Business Future Through Excellence in Governance”, the event recognized Transjakarta for its strong ethical foundation and accountable management practices. The company received the award in the category “Indonesia Excellence Good Corporate Governance – Ethics in Driving Business Productivity through Accountable Public Service Management in Transportation.”
“This recognition is a testament to our commitment to transparency, integrity, and regulatory compliance in all aspects of our operations,” said Ayu Wardhani, Head of Public Relations and CSR at Transjakarta, in a written statement on Thursday (June 26, 2025). “We strive to continuously enhance our performance and uphold the values that define a modern, responsible enterprise.”
The award was accepted by Transjakarta’s President Director, Welfizon Yuza. According to the company, this achievement aligns with its ongoing efforts to implement Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in accordance with Government Regulation No. 54 of 2017 concerning Regional-Owned Enterprises.
In 2024, the company earned an “Excellent” rating with a score of 88.194 from the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) of the Jakarta Provincial Government, further cementing its performance credentials.
Transjakarta’s strategic roadmap is built on three key pillars: Service, Strategic Partnerships, and Sustainability (3S). Through this framework, the company aims not only to deliver world-class public transportation but also to evolve into a globally competitive enterprise.
