Serang — Arfina Rustandi, Chairwoman of TP PKK Serang City, has been awarded the prestigious Inspiring Women of Indonesia 2025 by the Indonesian Muslimah Entrepreneurs Association (IPEMI). The award was presented at the Ministry of Industry’s Garuda Hall, recognizing her consistent contributions to community welfare and women’s empowerment.
Arfina, who also leads TP Posyandu Serang, is known for her hands‑on leadership style. She often visits neighborhoods, supports underprivileged families, and provides assistance to victims of domestic violence. Under her leadership, TP PKK Serang has actively tackled stunting reduction and strengthened household economies through the UP2K program, enabling women to achieve financial independence.
Her achievements in 2025 include multiple awards for PKK initiatives, ranging from stunting reduction performance to youth parenting programs in the digital era. Arfina emphasized that these successes are the result of collective effort by PKK and Posyandu cadres across Serang.
The editorial perspective highlights that her recognition is not only personal but symbolic of the growing role of women in local governance. By combining empathy with strategic action, Arfina demonstrates that female leadership can deliver tangible social impact.
Her award serves as both acknowledgment and encouragement — inspiring women in Serang and beyond to be independent, resilient, and active contributors to development.
