July 10, 2025

Jakarta – The Indonesia Best Electricity Award (IBEA) 2025 concluded with distinction on Thursday, July 4, 2025, at Hotel Bidakara Jakarta, celebrating national progress in clean energy innovation, technological advancement, and strategic leadership across the power industry.

According to Prof. Tumiran, Chair of the IBEA 2025 Jury Board, this prestigious award is not merely a gesture of appreciation but a vital platform to uncover and encourage domestic innovations that support Indonesia’s clean energy ambitions. “IBEA is about more than recognition—it’s about driving real industrial innovation that can gain support and priority from the government,” he stated.

Supporting this sentiment, Prof. Eniya Listiani Dewi, Director General of New and Renewable Energy at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, emphasized the importance of renewable energy’s growing share in Indonesia’s national electricity plan (RUPTL). She underscored the need for public-private collaboration in accelerating clean energy technologies and strengthening service capabilities.
