Jakarta — PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PT PP) has successfully secured contracts totaling Rp11.23 trillion for various projects within the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) domain, extending until March 2024. Yul Ari Pramuraharjo, Director of Infrastructure Operations at PT PP (Persero) Tbk, unveiled this monumental achievement during a press conference held at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in Jakarta on Wednesday (24/4).
Yul Ari shed light on the diversified progress of IKN’s development, expressing aspirations for completing the infrastructural framework in the new capital before August 17. “Currently, our endeavors in IKN primarily revolve around construction activities. Among the ongoing projects slated for completion by August are the VVIP IKN airport, the 3B toll road, the West National Axis, the Mosque access road, and the 6C toll road,” Yul Ari articulated.
Furthermore, PT PP has successfully concluded several work packages within the Core Government Center (KIPP) Areas I and II. “We’ve recently wrapped up infrastructure development within the Core Government Center (KIPP) areas one and two,” he elucidated.
Yuyus Juarsa, Director of Building Operations at PT PP (Persero) Tbk, provided additional insights into the ongoing expansion initiatives within the new capital. “Our ongoing projects encompass the construction of the Presidential Palace, ASN apartments, and the Bank Indonesia office complex. Progress across these ventures varies, with completion rates ranging from 20 to approximately 60 or 80 percent, with targets set for August 2024,” Yuyus elaborated. In a specific context, Basuki underscored the imperative development of the drinking water network within Nusantara IKN, with a projected completion timeline by June 2024. Additionally, there are blueprints for the construction of 2,585 apartment units within IKN Nusantara, predominantly earmarked for Civil Servants (ASN) and Military/Police personnel relocating to the new capital. Furthermore, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing envisages the continuation of ministerial residence construction, including 36 presidential assistant residences, adhering to the specified timelines.
